Stihl HS 82 R 24" Professional Hedge Trimmer

Professional hedge trimmer with 2-Mix engine technology. The HS 82 R boasts a double-sided cutting blade designed to cut through the toughest of hedges. The reliable, durable blades and gearbox will cope with a variety of uses, whether it's the first cut of the season or general maintenance. With a reduction in weight and increased efficiency, these machines will make light work of all trimming tasks. A powerful double-sided professional hedge trimmer, with a multi-function rear handle that rotates through 90° left and right. This R version is for powerful clearing with 3000 strokes per minute cut, this lower blade speed makes the HS82R an ideal machine for contractors cutting large areas of overgrown or woody hedges. The HS82R as well as the lower blade speed, also has a larger cutter spacing and blade height, allowing larger woody sections of a hedge to sit deeper in the blade, improving its cut. The gear ratio has been designed to give greater cutting power, for large volumes of cutting and clearing.

• Electronic ignition module: This ensures reliable starting and trouble-free running. The ignition system is fully encapsulated and thus protected from damp and dirt
• Manual fuel pump (purger): A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations
• Anti-vibration system: Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. Stihl has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles
• Stihl ErgoStart: A genuine advance in easy starting. Stihl ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one-third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action
• Long-life air filter system: Ensures longer cleaning intervals and better protection of the engine
• Tool-free filler cap: Patented special filler caps for fuel and oil. These filler caps can be opened and closed again quickly and easily, without tools
• Single lever operation: The choke, start gas, operating position and stop function are integrated onto one operating element.
