The Makita 18V533mm Belt Sander Bare Unit DBS180Z is an ideal belt sander for trade professionals as well as DIY enthusiasts as it is durable, reliable and versatile. It is designed with a brushless motor providing it with longer service life and giving it the ability to maintain maximum power even when working under load. Its electric brake gives the user more control and increases safety when using the machine. It has an integrated LED job light which helps to illuminate the work area, preventing downtime in low lighting times. The variable speed control helps to give the surface a smooth finish with reduced damage. To prevent user fatigue it also has a lock-on function for prolonged sanding without the need to hold a button the whole time. With the correct adapter, which can be purchased separately it can be attached to a dust extractor for clean and tidy working. For maximum safety during storage and transportation, it has an innovative anti-start-up feature. The adjustable arm pivots up to 160° for easy storage without taking up too much space.
