Unlike previous generations of Milwaukee batteries that work on cylindrical battery cells, the FORGE batteries employ rectangular design of cells which not only takes up less space, but is noticeably more efficient.
As you would expect with any REDLITHIUM battery, the M18 FB12 offers the best protection from weather and environmental conditions, especially on the jobsite. The housing has been designed with provide protection from common solvents, oils and greases.
